Bahar Preserve and Carpenter Falls pairs a 1.7-mile trail system with Skaneateles Lake shoreline and views of a nearly 90-foot waterfall. For a longer adventure, Bear Swamp State Forest offers more than 16 miles of multiuse trails through a quiet, expansive woodland southwest of the lake.
